New year and updates!

Happy delayed New year everyone!!
Crazy and I spent New years camping at Yadboro state forest in the mountains south west from here. Was good fun! On NYE we climbed Pigeon House Mountain (the sign recommended 3 hours to reach the top) its is SUPER steep, but half way there is a little bit of flat ground where we found someone on their way down who said it only took them 45mins! So we decided to take no more than 1hr to reach the top! The dirt trail has lots of wooden steps built in to help climb up it and the final point of the mountain (the "pigeon house") on top is all rock, and has ladders built into it to be able to get to the top! SOOOO worn out by the time we got there, it was EPIC. BUT we managed to get to the trig and look at he time being exactly 1 hr from when we left to the top! Woo!
We stayed up there taking lots of photos, it also had 360degree views and we could even get phone reception up there! X"D Our 2 way radio even reached the campsite and we could talk to people there! in a direct straight line to the campsite, google maps said we were 5km away (just in range of our radios!) awesome ^__^
While we were up there we decided to hunt for the geocache up there. The description and hint was NO help and bad gps readings didnt help either. But even though it took probly 1.5hrs, and lots of exporing and find caves and epic view points. we found it!! The sun had already set and light was limited, so we went as fast as we could down the mountain! Eventually we had to put on the torch on my phone on to go the last half of the trek down. But it was fun! good trip and epic work out! Would probly do it again with more light I think!
When we got back we had dinner and washed up in the river. and sat around the campfire. Crazy and his friend made sparkler 'bombs' out of a beer bottle and crushed sparklers.. all they did was fizzle and pop the lid off X"D arrwell!
Later on waiting for new year, we heard other campsite yelling out.. so we figured it must have been 12! lol.. Happy New year!
In other news... We have 12 chicken eggs and 6 quail eggs incubating! I put them in on the 1st and will be due in a couple of weeks!
Have SOLD Kaleido!! And in process of making new body/hands and feet for the new owner ^___^
After that will be finishing of a final commission suit before taking on any new orders. I have some interest out there which is good! So I'll post when I am open again =)
Haven't done any art in a while... busy time is busy! Worked lots of nights lately!! Should get more into it again when the tourists go home I think! =D

I've been up Pigeonhouse Mountain once before. Those ladders are pretty amazing.
