So I've been in the furry fandom for 10 years ! Scary !

It's been about 20 years for me. I got into this nutty fandom in 1993.
I got into it when I was 14 or so, maybe 15?
So 8-9 years, myself.
...Now I feel old O.o
First was at EF15, piss drunk, finnfurs talking and me staring at black man... After moment me going:" Can I hug you?! (the black man)" I hug him and tell him that he was the first black I ever hugged --> profit --> Another hug and approve <3

Was on the Net looking at furry pictures before I attended my first furry con (Anthrocon) back in 1997, so that gives me 15+ years in Furry -- and I haven't been committed yet.
I was a latecomer, though. I didn't find the fandom until I was 40!
Found it when I was 9-10 years old.
9 years since furry discovered for me. late 2005 was when I found fchan through Google Images, looking for "werewolves" or something similar.
