I finally had my first meal after my surgery. I have been on a liquid diet and have been eating mostly broth since last Thursday. Today, I had two bites of egg, a bite of french toast and a sausage patty. I can't believe I get full off of such a small amount of food! I have to chew my food into the tiniest little bits. It hurts so badly to swallow XD

This diet is going to change my relationship with food completely. I'm used to eating as much crap as I want and now I am going to have to eat food for fuel instead.

Tonight I am going to try to tackle pasta with cheese sauce. Yay.

I am so thankful for my mate. He has taken the best care of me through all of this. Without him I really dont know how I would have made it through the weekend. Props to my sheppie.
