FWA has been on my "watch list" for a while, but the thing is: I like FCN, AC and MFF. And I have a habit of keeping my schedule unless reasons force me to change it. :)

*sigh* Just wish it was more accessible to non-car travel. :(

The only problem, from what I experienced last year, is the cab ride from and to the airport. It's pricey. But - why not arrange with friends?

True, I could even do shared ride as well. But being a transit fur, I'd like to take transit were possible (with some exceptions).

Congrats! Would love to go back to FCN, but the hotel's sold out.

The overflow hotel is very close.

I was thinking about that. But I was there in 2011 and at night the city shuts off the stoplight and walkway in front of the Sheraton on Haggerty road. I saw cars go zooming by around 40-50+ mph, and it makes that street difficult to cross at night.

And I wasn't that happy with FCN's Programming in 2011. There were some fun events but the con was pretty skimpy. FWA's and Megaplex's programming had more events and panels and were better ran than FCN's.

But if you want to drink, party and socialize FCN is a awesome con for that.

I think there is a shuttle bus but I don't know the hours.

We would welcome any programming suggestions. My partner is working on programming so pm me or look it up on the website and offer up any suggestions you might have. We can't make them all happen of couse but it is welcome.

Oh and there are going to be some great things in the charity auction this year. More on that later (my dept.)

Unfortunately, the place I work at currently is not allowing vacation time for any of its employees until after the "tax season". Since the big deadline is April 15 for American taxpayers, that means no FCN for me this year. I'm sad - this will be the first FCN since it started that I'll have to miss.
