Also, this entire story is still somewhat in progress. What I have so far is the main information about this species that I have already came up with. If something important pops into my head that relates to and makes sense to the history of this species, then I shall add more as it comes to me.


Dream Catcher Spawn come from the bad dreams collected within dream catchers. The bad dream that it specifically relates to is generally what the dreamer has the most bad dreams of. They develop over long periods of time (usually just a few years) when a dream catcher remains to be "uncleansed". Once they are ready, the "babies" it creates fall from the bead(s) that are on the dream catcher.

Dream Catcher Spawn are somewhat rare. Not only from how long it takes for them to form, but because it is known that once the sun hits the dream catcher (and the bead[s] on it), it "destroys" the bad dreams. To form a DC Spawn, the dream catcher it resides in must be "uncleansed" and away from sunlight for the long period of time that it takes to be born.

Their beginning names, or what they are called at least, are in the language that the direct owner of the bad dreams speaks. If the dreamer knows multiple languages fluently, it generally comes from the main language that is used by the country that the owner was born in.
