Nah! I'm nothing special. I just know how to really squeeze ms paint :)

You have really great drawings yourself. That white kitty cat is very well drawn. I honestly have no idea how you managed to do that texture and shading.

That's the thing with paint, you actually have to work at it, can't expect the program to do half the job for you. Maybe that's why my more recent drawings haven't been so good.

I imagined that was the way you did it. I'm very impressed. That must have taken you a lot of time an patience.

And that's the reason why I consider MS Paint better than any other program. Any artist these days can claim doing "wonderful pieces of art" with Sai, Photoshop or other programs. MS Paint can do the same that those programs as it works in the same basic way (by pixels); the only difference is those programs do everything for you with just clicking in some fancy cheating tool.

You want to know another secret? I don't even use a tablet. Another reason why I love MS Paint.

even when I have experimented with other programs, I find the only way I can get them to work is to draw everything in paint, edit it to just right, then trace over that final version to get the more professional looking line style that seems to be the only real difference. horribly tricky to get lines right on most programs, but in paint, just zoom in and move a couple of pixels. I use a mouse now, but I got so used to my laptop touchpad that it feels awkward, and it's a cheap mouse, so it doesn't always do what I want.
