Super robots Vs Serial robots

Awoo ! Hi everyone ^.^ !

Little question to the anime robots fans... and to the followers of my little gallery:

Which one is your favourite kind ? Super robots (Mazinger) or Serial robots (Gundam) ? Why ? Which one do you prefer to see my wuff pilot ? A Super robot (Aperion) or a Serial robot (Beast frame) ?

Destroids and Walkers can be included in the serial production robots, because after all are manufactured in series in a factory like the mobile suits ^^

Exactly, serial = anything build in a factory that doesen't have supwepowers, and is mostly used as war machine ^^

then i will say VF-1 with reflex missiles (if they can destroy a zentraedi cruiser whit only one, carring 6 per valkyrie...)

I prefer serial robots (I call them "real robots" though), because they look like more feasible in matters of physics and such stuff. That doesn't mean I don't like super robots though, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is my favourite series. x3

In my opinion, I imagine your wuff in a super robot more than in a real (serial) robot.

In anime, I generally prefer the serial robots to the super robots, but there are possible exceptions, notably Big O. But is Big O a super robot, or is it a serial...? It's kinda' both.

Hmm.. well I mostly like Super Sentai's mechas but if those aren't included... then Gundam? x3

Well the Super Sentai mechas, or "Gattaiger" mechas are usually included in the Super Robots branch, yet i know a few exceptions of gattaigers which are not super robots (The SRX Bampresios is one onf those)

I guess I'd pick the serial ones, cause my favorite mechs are the 'walking tanks' like the ones in Mechwarrior/Battletech, and the titans from 40K.

I'd have to go with serial robots. I can understand the appeal of having a superman of robots, but I just like it that serial robots usually have more of a focus on engineering and reality. Except gundams. They are just a huge waste of potential from that power source.
