The time I spent by myself this weekend was measured in minutes.

On Friday,  t-rose took Sparkz and I out to dinner at Dunderbak's, since Sparkz will soon be moving near Hazleton for his new job, and it was great to have that one more last-minute "hey let's all meet up and do something!" thing with him before he goes.

Then on Saturday, there was another one of  AboxofDeth and  bmagus's awesome parties at their place, which I had been looking forward to, and there were a lot more new (to me, at least) faces than usual, this time (along with the now-usual smattering of Mars products to take home). And despite being up until nearly 3 AM and waking up at 7:30 (to get back to Lehigh Valley in time for Rose's shift and my errands), it was perhaps the most energetic morning I've had in weeks. owo

Sunday was a very happy surprise.  Fairfox messages me out of the blue to go play disc golf with him, Lupine, and Ferric, and it was...interesting. The getting a little exercise outdoors and being with friends part was a good time, as it always is, but the fog that pervaded the course made it very hard to figure out where we were supposed to throw, or even follow our discs in the air after we threw them! :p After playing the 18 holes, we went back to Fox Farm, had a taste of  icepaws's delicious stromboli that he had just made, watched a movie, and finished off the night with a nice dinner at a steakhouse.

For pretty much the entire weekend, I was marveling at how wonderful it is to have all these friends nearby that are just so damn fun to be with. You guys are the best. <3
