The doc said last weekend I had "Stress Induced Acid Reflux."

I would be feeling sick all day followed by incredible pains in my chest, then stomach every night after I have been running around all day at work. It would also sometimes make me clock out early or miss work which they weren't having any more of.

(For some reason) I thought it was an STD... so I got checked. Turns out, I'm as squeaky clean as a Germaphobe otter who just took a bath in antibacterial soap. :D

BUT

I was still throwing up & stuff so I went to the doc.

Her words were, after she described what was wrong with me, "So you must have been so pent up & stressed that the acid in your stomach was too much for your body to handle.. so your body threw it up."

This is what I heard though... "CALM THE FUCK DOWN WITH THAT STRESS SHIT, YO. IT WILL BE THE DEATH OF YOU."

So I'm taking Protonix everyday for 2 weeks. And then I will ween off of it.
HOPEFULLY everything will be settled after then. But If vomiting or the pains come back, she told me, "We can do further tests to see if you do have Acid Reflux Disease."

...Which made me cringe.
