I'm new to furry writing, and I'm in the dark on this sort of stuff; but would it be a good idea then to put stuff on those two as well? I have other questions too, if you're willing to answer any or can point me to someone or something that will.

FurAffinity is kinda like furry-central... which is sad because it barely gets updates and the updates it gets are small overall. It's kinda a necessity to talking to other furs since its where everyone goes for sure. Also, FA tends to follow more conventional rules on what should be posted and thus sometimes things get taken down because of content.

SoFurry was created by another huge furry fan, though the original name was less... poetic to say it one way. In my opinion, SoFurry is the best of all the sites because it has a very clean layout, a working search feature, and a huge support community that continues to add to it. They are currently on their 2nd release of the 2nd version of their site... Also, I consider this to be the best furry writing site, because they give it to you in the simplest format with additional options. SF has no rules on posting stuff except that it should contain furry imaging of some sort.

InkBunny is the newby of the bunch, and somehow it became more of a cub-centric, by which I mean posts there tend to be more cub oriented than adult on adult. With that said, it has a very nice reading platform that works pretty decently and it overall is formatted nicely. I personally don't use it much more than posting stories though, because it is so cub-loving.

Thank you for the details. Where would I be most likely to get helpful criticism of my stories, or where would I find good tips for writing? I might not be aiming to do writing as a profession, but I still want to make my stories as enjoyable as possible. The content is what I feel like writing down from a growing mental list of ideas; most centered around a world I'm building with my first series, but I know there are sort of technical things like choosing point of view, descriptive words, what sort of things don't really work for having any sense of realism or what have you.

SoFurry and before your story write a small blurb asking for comments, constructive critique, and help with development. They have the best response by the community.
