Please give me honest feedback.
I'm looking at potentially raising Sketchmissions to $22 for grayscale or $27 for color going into effect February 1st. This raise would hopefully help me to cover some unexpected problems with my husband's car a bit sooner than our current projected fix date of mid-April, giving me an extra $50 a month total to put that direction.
Would this be acceptable? Would it change your mind on commissioning me?

Beginning February 1st, all Sketchmission prices will raise $2 USD. This means that grayscale sketches will be $22 USD and color sketches will be $27 USD. All add-on prices will remain the same.
This increase will not affect current paid-for Sketchmissions.
This price increase is to pay for an unexpected problem with my husband's car, but will remain permanent after the fix as a response to increased demand in Sketchmissions (which I can't thank you guys enough for!).
Prices will not change again until June.

I've seen artists charge crazy amounts for smaller or simpler pieces just because of their level of reputation and they know people will still pay for it. I've also seen the other end of the spectrum where very talented artists charge pennies (figuratively) for large or very well done pieces.
Personally, i plan on commissioning you again when i can and something as small as a $2-5 change in prices won't have any affect on that. =P
Regardless, the quality of your art and service are awesome so I see no issue with a small bump in price.
Also, you strike me as a person who has her stuff squared away, so if you say you've ran the figures and need X amount, then to me that's the way it is.

You need the money to help out your mate and you're art is worth the extra charge
