An Introduction

Even though I’ve been posting art for over 2 years now, I thought it might be a good idea to make an introduction post.
My fursona is Serandite Graff, the red dragon seen throughout this gallery. He is a red dragon with some raptor thrown in. Dragons and raptors are my two favorite species and I couldn’t decide which one to use so I made him a hybrid.
When it comes to his personality, likes and dislikes; Seran in some aspects is very similar to my real life self but in other aspects, he is the complete opposite of me. While Serandite is an extrovert, I am way more of an introvert. Seran is an open person, he has more confidence but like me, he prefers to let his actions speak for him and he doesn’t take unnecessary risks. Both of us are analytical and tend to approach situations logically. We are both hopeless romantics.
However, the biggest difference between Serandite and my real life self is how we approach social situations. I am a very shy, quiet and reserved person. I don’t handle them very well. I’m the guy when you try to have a conversation with only seems to give one word answers and seems like he just wants to be somewhere else other than right there. I’m the guy that likes to stand off to the side and out of the way. I am a wallflower. Simply saying hello to someone I don’t know can be nerve-racking for me.
Serandite, for the most part, is the opposite of this. But he is not the ‘in your face’ type.
As for likes and dislikes, between Serandite and myself, they are the same.
Likes/Hobbies
Video Gaming: I like to play for fun. A little good nature ribbing is fine but excessive stuff is annoying as hell.
I’m mechanically inclined. I love both taking things apart to see how they work and building things; I love doing things with our hands.
Reading, sci-fi and fantasy
I am a rockhound.
That’s about it really. If you can’t tell, I do have a hard time expressing myself. But I am looking to meet new people but I do ask to have patience with me.

and awesome, you seem to play many of the games i tend to play. Except for Forza 4. yet to get that game. i also like the strategy games, and some third person games. im playing Dark souls on my PC right now for instance :P
and you seem like a pretty cool guy. if you want, we could play a few games. i have both an Xbox and Steam. so either of those work. :)

My Todex shark is just an amped-up version of myself for the most part; there is nothing really there that I don't express in one way or another :P Though I usually don't run around and grope random people. And I'm not that hyper extroverted! Though doing stuff online definitely helped to be a bit more relaxed with people, as long as they are no dumb fucks :B
So I think wanting to run around naked is not really an urgent need :D
Hrm. Usually once you know someone a bit, it's very easy to tell his or her mood by keeping an eye on the choice of words, reply speed, phrases, etc... Works reasonably well in most cases :D
Like I said above, it's when I first meet someone that can be incredibly difficult for me. For example, when I contacted you about getting an icon, I wrote the email to be as formal as possible so it would come across as neutral.

Well you could have just been rambling and not cared that much for being neutral though x] I don't mind informal talk as long as I get the informations I need!
I'm replying because I'm curious, so I assure you I'm perfectly selfish.
I do hope I'm able to get one of your regular commissions when you are open. But beyond something simple like a pin-up, I'm not sure what I would get.

Well looking through your gallery, you have some interesting stuff.
But I must ask, what is a 'rockhound'? Perhaps an interest for geology? :)
And yes, a rockhound is someone with an interest in geology. I have a degree in it.
