Today, well yesterday since it's after midnight now, my mom got news that we've all been waiting a very long time to hear. Her cancer and everything is in remission, not just part, and not just a little... according to her doctor she has been in 100% remission for a little bit already, and here's praying that it will continue to go into remission for years to come. Today, I was speechless, I don't know what to say, because, honestly, I am still finding it in the "WOW, OMG" moment... My mom's had her illnesses for 21 years, 21 long years of fighting and now, she may even be able to wee off of a medication or two in the coming years.... Maybe, just maybe she'll be a little bit more pain-free each day, That's what I hope for. For my mom not to have to worry, not to hurt... so many things running through my head and all I can think is "Thank you Gods, of my gods, her gods, everyone's gods... thank you... Thank you so very very much" And a Thank you to everyone in her and our lives who has ever helped her or us as we have gone by. her doctors, her nurses, family and friends... I just want to give you all a great big hug...

it really is, I'm so very thankful that she's finally in remission... She's been fightign for 21 long years... since i was 4 years old... Gave up her carreer as a psychologist becasue it got so bad... :/

yeah she is ^_^ a fighter and a very loving carring mother all in one. I couldn't be where I am today without her being there...

Multiple reasons... I've not got a college degree, I want to be a photographer and not something like a doctor or something, I'm not heterosexual... I married at the age of 20 (exactly 2 weeks after turning 20), the choice of man I chose isn't what she wanted... I didn't have a wedding ceremony she could orchestrate and attend. And... we've ended up living with them twice now and this second time has been for two years...

*shrugs* Life goes on, prettty much is all I can say anymore... Hopefully our situation will have a turn around. but I'm still very happy that my mom is in 100% remission... It's had me scared for years, not knowing when or if I'd get the call saying it's gone for the worse...
