Why don't you post some feedback on people's artwork and writing, so they can make their work better?

There are a lot of artists and writers that aren't very good, though for writers I fear the challenge is more: do I write lovely yiffy short stories, or am I coming up with a novel not based around that stuff entirely? The ones in the second category may not get much useful criticism or views. I feel a little like I might as well be writing a creepy and poor fanfic instead of working on a story of my own where a character is currently lost in step 1 of the grieving process and has bits of my real life story nicely integrated into his own tale for all the interest I've gotten in faves and watches. Though I must admit I just started writing a little over a week ago, I'm grateful for being watched by a writer after I started this who's been doing this for a lot longer, and I did get like 8 watches in the first week. I'm still gonna write. I have too many ideas now. I know where the first world of my creation is going to open up; I feel like I'll have done something awesome if I manage to bring the readers I have to that point.

What piques your interest? How do you think you can best convey ideas you come up with to other people? The best thing about some of the less astonishing artists here is that you see where they want to go instead of the commissioners more often. Look at Grilder the demon dino if you need an example. I love visiting his page when he's clearly on because he nearly always replies to even silly comments and interacts with his audience. Of course he's not the next Blotch, but it's less about the quality than it is about his friendly and frequent presence. I don't feel intimidated chatting with him through comments.
