Surgery Update
I'm in a haze as I write this so please forgive mispellings if I make them. They oral doctor put me on oxycodone,s o I'm very out of it.
The surgery became more extensive than expected. They were just going to remove the tooth, but the abscess was so large that they decided to cut that out, too. There's a huge gap in my gums, not just where my toth was, but leading up away from it because of taking the abscess.
I was bleeding prfusely when I came out from being put to sleep, but they packed my face with gauze, so the bleeding isn't so bad now. I can't have any warm or really solid foods for a week or more, until I'm healed enough.
The abscess apparently had grown toward my sinus, so I've had pain there, too. Thankfully, the infection didn't breach into the sinus, it just damaged the outside, so it's not as bad as it could have been.
My sight is still really fuzzy in my right eye, so I don't know if I'll ever have it back to normal, which means I might be permanently partially blinded from this.
At least the drugs are god.
The bill came to over $500, which took everything from what I had saved up except for maybe $10. I don' know how long it will take for me to recover and manage to get a job, but if anyone could find it in them to maybe donate even $1, I need money for a bill I thought I'd be able to pay with what I'd have left from surgery, but can't now.
I need to raise $50. Normally, I would never resort to asking for donations, but as it is, I feel like it's the only thing I can turn to, since I'm retired from commissions, not to mention I'm so out of it on this pain killer that I don't think I could even manage stick figures.
My paypal is RaptorsAreTheBest[at]gmail.com if anyone is willing to help. Thank you all for being so understanding.
