Nice hearing from ya again! :3 Yeah, mixing is a real pain...but now I need to focus on finishing songs myself! Especially if I'm gonna finish an album at some point in the near future. Glad to hear you're alive and well.

Well, your gonna have grasp some of it if you're gonna keep recording, cause sometimes you gotta adjust your vocals so they come out nice and clear over certain beats.

I mean I'm definitely trying to learn it! It's just like, baby steps, I learn a little trick at a time, hahaha

Tell me about it. Constant improvement in mixing is my goal. Must say that the drum track on my latest project is sounding pretty tight...now if I could only figure out my vocals... :P

Since l don't make my beats on software, l was having trouble recording and transferring my audio tracks from my 8 track to my computer at the right sound level. Now that l experimented with it, l'm getting better results.

Good deal. I tend to either over or under cut my gains/volume levels when going from my mixer or preamps to my DAW. Still trying to find the sweet spot. Of course it also varies depending on what's being recorded. It can get frustrating.
