Penises!
I mean, in vore topics.
When I first discovered the vore community, I was amazed to discover that I was not alone in the world to enjoy this type of thing.
It now dawns on me that vores can actually be split in two groups: those who enjoy vore as a fetish and those who live their sexuality through vore.
I'm in the second category. To me, what turns me on "is" vore and I don't need to see any penis or vagina in a pic to do it for me. Just give me a simple vore pic of a creature eating another and it will do it for me.
The more I look at people's pics in my watch list, and the more I'm like "why is there a need to put a penis in this vore picture?".
The answer, I think, is, because those vore people enjoy vore as a fetish, as something that goes along with their sexuality, but they live a normal sexual life. On my end, I don't think I could ever have a "normal" sexual life, because what only turns me on is vore and it will always be like that.
I think it's time for me to realize such things at the age of 34 and thought I'd share it with the community.

FA+

I have seen many vore-based drawings on FurAffinty that have been more or less ruined by the inclusion of a random, unnecessary erection poking you in the eye. Many of the most stylish vore images that I have seen manage to capture the moment without using genitalia as a handicap.
Sadly this trend will continue as the inclusion of pen0r realistically supplies more hit, favorites, and watches.
I love cock vore, but I don't like unnecessary shows of excited genitals and such...
Good to see I'm not alone thought x3
I still can't imagine how some people go from straight to gay or vice versa when they've liked the same thing for decades (and I know a few) (no they're not bisexual since they stopped liking girls for good xD).
Anyway a wise bear once told me "to each their own" and I am still truly conviced he was right.

From my own angle I started with being a pure unadulterated vore, clean as it were, food for food sake, eat eat eat....I was also far less tolerant as a person, the concept of willing vore was utterly strange to me for example, but over the decade i suppose i've learned about my own urges and slid them in there as part of the story.. I can't deny that the sexual angle slips in as a part of it... however, in my defense.. what has truly infested my vorish nature is the lust for the story that revolves around it..not sure if i can call that a fetish though. The evolution has mitigated my dark side rather alot..
What comes out now is rather than Vore or Sex its about the flow, the story that is crafted between the two partners, I still claim to have vore first, the capstone of it all, followed by domination, and then sexuality, where TF fits in is sorta hard for me to even explain. I view em each as part of my toolbox to better craft a delicious encounter..there are a few other things that are to sappy to get into.
Would it be to glib of me to attribute the change to vore becoming mainstream? Its hardly really exotic anymore.. picked up here and there by a vastly wider array of folks than the prey FA style era(An aside is I do miss the closer nit nature of it when folks had to hunt for folks with the same interest,
anyhow, enough of this ol creative fellows rambling..and just think BBB... i'm the same age as a big gutted hungry ursine.... who would have thought.
There is no need to relate the sexual part as a dark side. To each their own, I just prefer it, both in my roleplays and in whatever vore I see online, when there is no overuse of genitals.
Well, glad things have evolved on your end and that you developed more flexibility. On my end, I'm afraid I have become more picky about what I do in roleplays :/
Oh well, I'm doing my best to still keep a bit of flexibility, but I prefer to rp with people who seek similar stuff as mine rather than trying to adapt my style to others who don't really share my interests.
Thanks for your analysis lion :)
