Furlandia, new convention.

So I just learned of this new furry con starting up for the first time in May. Its located in downtown Portland, Oregon. And of course, me being from Beaverton, just 20 minutes away, that makes me go "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHH!" XD Truth be told I don't know much about the con, they only got their website up and running a few days ago: http://furlandia.org/ But they got a hotel and convention center set up, and have opened registration, and is set for May 10-12. They are hosting local meets in Portland for anyone who wants to attend and give their input for panels and what not. So please check it out and spread the word ^.=.^ Here's hoping it will be spectacular its first time!

Yes, getting a hotel room can be quite difficult. Being able to commute makes things infinitely more simple. Taking public transit is even easier. You don't even need to find a place to park!
Furcons are like the best thing since pizza.

I dont think there are enough Maine furs to start anything, maybe VT, but ME is sorta secluded
