Stalker/crazy guy alert...not me, you dicks
12 years ago
It's a sad day when a friend is unable to warn people of a fellow FA user impersonating them on various IM accounts and communities due to the ToC forbidding a much-needed callout. That is, when he's not claiming to be married to the guy. Which would surely come as a shock to the impersonatorhusband's own wife and kid. Unless his impersonation is so good he's convinced he's his own husband. Tch, 30 year-old, 3D modelling, death-and-thrash-metal loving Russians these days, eh?
I can understand why they don't allow it but you'd think there'd be some sort of leeway in cases of stalking and harassment. I mean, I could just tweet his FA username and that'd be fine? If the loopholes are that obvious and well-used, then the original rule needs changing.

Funny thing is, I don't know the person and last time I checked my penis enjoyed taking strolls through vagina valley.
Some of the people on this site and so forth are a wee bit unstable, but don't you worry he will have LOADS of white knights to defend him :|.
But ya, I have people who impersonate my Valentine character, I have people impersonate me, its crazy, and it never works because somebody always alerts me to it, asking me what the fuck is going on!
My best advice would be to PM an admin about it and personally ask for a warning to be made public or if you can let people know of this. It's best to handle it quickly and quietly than to make a commotion imo
FA prolly frowns on callouts to keep the cavalcade of mean shouts and page traffic to a minimum. I would say anyone who does such a thing as impersonating another for personal gain deserves a public stoning, but better to not waste bandwidth on petty vengeance and spectacle.
Later on when I got home, He sent me a text saying "So how did u liek our 1st date babe?"
I was like.. No.
Sadly, it wasn't that easy... He clung to me like a tick and just would not go away, no matter how many times I said NO, he kept following me and telling people I was his boyfriend... I'm glad that looney is gone. Sad to say, he found someone else to cling to... just glad it isn't me, but i feel bad for that other guy.
You should feel fine. Keep an eye out from impersonators.
Sorry to hear this though but eh, I'm sure everyone knows the real from the fake.
