when i have trouble with a pose i google pics of real children doing that poses. that usually helps me figure out how to get it right. maybe that will help?

Don't give up too quickly on a pic that isn't going the way you want it to; sometimes it just needs a lil polishing to make it look awesome! ^_^

Keeping things fresh isn't necessarily about new poses or scenery. Changing something small, such as the angle of an ear, the curl of a paw, or a curve of the tail can make all the difference in the world. I for one think your art is great ^^
Draw things that inspire you. The best artistic pieces on earth are founded in emotion (whether gladness, anger, hatred, sadness, or incoherent giddiness).
