If I was a well known artist I would probably charge 5-10 dollars for a black and white sketch, 15-20 for a colored, and then you could add another five for gimmicks like multiple characters, detailed backgrounds, or for nsfw images and unusual fetishes. I don't know though, some artists can get away with charging way more and still be successful. Really depends on a number of factors.
