Awesome! If it's not during the Dealer's Den time I'll try to make an appearance!
It also makes me feel like we should make a graphic novel at some point, but then, that's always been a thing I've wanted to accomplish.
A graphic novel has been a dream of mine, one of those goals I shied away from out of fear of failure (yes, I do that with art sometimes!).
The only thing that bothers me about working on a graphic novel is the distrinct possibility of it not getting published after everything is said and done. I know I otherwise have the capacity for it.
And yeah, I really do want to get that piece off the ground. I wanted to make sure I had all my X-mas bills paid off and then when I was ready to restart the project, my partner injured his shoulder and we weren't sure if he was going to be working for awhile. He is working now, but last night, he pulled out a root canal filling so yeah, there seems to be always something standing in the way of this project. I am hoping that maybe once my rent payment goes through and he has his tooth looked at, that we can start this project.
Also, if you are going to MFF 2013, I am looking into putting that on my schedule for this year. If we both go, we certainly need to meet face-to-face once more and maybe I'll get the chance to buy you some dinner out in Chicago.
I am also looking into Morphicon and Fur Fright, but because those cons are smaller, they're on the back-burner.
If you're interested in the image in the future you will always have a spot waiting for you!
Smaller cons are definitely on my back burner, as well. It's probably not a good business move for me to sell at small cons, but perhaps I'll revisit one in the future, just for friendships sake. At any rate, hope we meet at MFF!.
