Been following for quite a while. Feeling miffed that when I share your stuff to others, they either find it funny or shrug. Frustrating to see folks not take stuff more seriously, hopefully they understand things on a finer level and not just clout-chase.

I don't think I could manage if I was around those kinds of people anymore. Do you end up having to let it go, or do you ever trust them with the disconnect of your motivations and their response?

It's... alittle more nuanced after looking at it again. Like, the ones who shrug are usually too young and not mature of the ways the world work, usually when they get a bit older and more curious, let reality hit them like a truck; the ones that laugh-react actually understood the intent, it's just that their sense of humour is so dark, they might accidentally come off as insensitive. There was like only one person I was in communication with who understood the tone of your writings and works, and elicit the tonally correct response.

I say that, I might be too hard up initially sharing your posts. But I also say, to give it more time for people to wake up (they come from a much more materialistic, privileged background, so they do come off as pretty aloof or ignorant).

Thanks for the thoughtful response there. As someone whose dark humour and unexpected mannerisms have gotten him into trouble before, I can empathise!

I'm glad to hear it wasn't as disconnected as it seemed at first.
