Murr is a free program I am developing which allows users to store all of their more private images in an encrypted password protected database, and tag/rate them also.

Murr manages accessing the database and viewing the content inside.
It includes features such as:
- Encrypted and password protected database for storing all of your private images(password is optional of course)
- Tagging and Rating(0-5 star system) images.
- Ability to easily import all images within an entire directory and all it's sub-directorys.
- Can detect duplicate images and images that are similar (such as a resized version)
- Loading times exceeding that of windows explorer (should usually display all image thumbnails in a folder much faster then explorer would.)
- Operates like a regular folder, users can drag images from Murr to another location and they will be copied to that location, users can also drag and drop images right from their browser to a folder within Murr and it will download and import the image.
- Custom image viewer capable of viewing images of exceptional resolutions (size limit is determined by your computers RAM, but with 4 gigs or more you should be all good for anything up to like 15000x15000)
- Custom image viewer will remember what area of an image you were last viewing and will default to that spot when opened again.
- Animated gifs(even in thumbnail view)
- Program uses GPU for rendering images rather than GDI like most other desktop software.
- Program has a customizable color scheme so users can "skin" it.
