If David Cameron postponed or worse, dropped it like he said he was going to a few days ago, someone (quite possibly me) would have killed him. So it was in everyone's best interests to let it go through.
I look forward to the day that being gay can be irrelevant, where you can tell anyone and not get a weird response, where you can hold hands and kiss another man like someone else would a woman and get no strange looks from passers by, when 2 people in love can get married with equal rights regardless of their sex.
That would be the day. The day LGBT youths won't have to 'come out' to people but just simply say that they're in love with another guy or another girl and that will be all there is to it. No throwing people out of homes, no violence, no hating. Just informing and being happy.
