Story WIP - Orc and General
Sporadically working on an orc-related story, tentatively titled "The Orc and the General." I'm keeping it on Google Docs with viewing open if people are interested in its progress. Link here, updated whenever I write.
Rated "G" for "Mind in the Gutter" when I get to writing those parts.
(I wonder if people read these things.)

Are you familiar with Scrivener? I wholeheartedly recommend checking it out, especially if you compose longer works. A couple of years ago, on a whim, I started writing (using Google Docs), but found it lacking. I moved over to Word, however as the story progressed and my notes at the top of the document piled up, I quickly grew frustrated.
Enter Scrivener. Every piece of your document (scene or chapter, for example) is a separate entity that is organized in a binder. You can write notes or summery for each entity, as well as create sub-sections unconnected to the story to organize characters, locations, etc. In the end, my first draft was 76k words, and with that software, I could jump to any section I wanted with a few clicks, without needing to scroll through pages of text.
Geez, this sounds like an advertisement. I swear they aren't paying me. Haha!
Good luck with your story. :]
And thanks as well for your comments!
