When I was in art school my professor told me it's the process that's important rather than the product. It's helped with my being so critical of my work. Although... I gave up drawing for crafts. Haha!

Heh, nothing wrong with that. But you're right about it; should focus more on the act of creating rather than trying to get 'perfect' results. A little more art for art's sake and not just art because I want to make good art.

It's partially that and also just developing your skills and fine tuning your process. ^-^ Practice makes perfect and all that. Lol.
