I'm a little scared and really worried
Well today w got some bad news, my dad has been having medical problems, for the last couple years, including but not limated to atlest 2 mild heart attacks, an angina, and blockages in his legs they caused him pain of walking for over 3 minutes at a time, over the last 6-9 months he has started to take pills, he's gone in to get the blockages ballooned, and has also started to try and quit smoking.
but about 2 weeks ago he got informed that he had 80% blockage in one of his carotid arteries, and that he had to go in to get a ultra sound to check out where theblockage was, since if it was to Far up they would not be able to do anything about it here in sudbury, and they would have to talk to a neurosurgeon to see if there was anything that could be done about it. Well we found out today that It's to far up For sudbury doctors to do anything, and if the neurosurgeon looks at the flim they are going to be sending to him, he's going to have to go down to london for surgery, and even then we were told there is a 6-10% chance of him stroking on the table well they are operating, but if he dosen't do anything he was given up to 2 years, with the possibility of a stroke between now and then, that could paralize or kill him.
Right now Mom is scared, Dad is worried, my little brother is shutting down about he (he has issues dealing with things like this, illness and death), and I'm trying to help everyone deal with whats going on. We have 7-10 days till we get any info so right now it's to sit down and try and be calm.
I'm hoping everything will work out for Dad and I'm also hoping that I'll still be able to go to FE but right now it's up in the air.
