So GameStop decided to lose all my preorders.

All because I updated my phone number on their powerup website.
Now the store, gamestop website, and helpdesk all have no records of the four games I had preordered. God of War Ascension, Metal Gear Rising, Tomb Raider, and Bayonetta 2. The former three were limited edition preorders.
I also happened to leave my phone at home when I went to the store, so I couldn't figure out my -old- phone number. Which proves how useful having a long standing account with them is. Store clerk couldn't do anything.
So I go home and call their helpdesk. Which of course is answered by some indonesian speaking lady who mumbles, talks too fast, and has me repeat everything more loudly.
She also doesn't even know the titles of the games her company sells. I had to literally SPELL OUT God of War Ascension, Bayonetta, and correct her that it was Metal Gear Rising, not Metal Gear Revising...
So after spending 40 minutes on the phone, with roughly only 15 minutes actually spent not on hold, she finally tells me that my request has been sent to another department. I don't know where, and it'll take up to three days for them to call or email me back after they see if I have the preorders that I claim to have.
It takes them three days, To look at the history of one name, visiting one store, with one account number who bought four games.
Words cannot describe how goddamn livid I am right now.
