Sometimes I worry that I'm crossing the familiarity line, but never in a sexualized sense. I did once accidentally ask a friend if she was busty in a public area of an MMO, though (the "T" and "Y" key are really, really adjacent, y'see, heh heh heh.... crap.)

I do worry about appearing over-familiar myself. So I end up going the exact other way which gives people who want to be closer to me the sense that I don't give a fuck about them.

Everyone has stuck their foot in their mouth atleast once or twice and the people in this thread that say they haven't aren't being entirely honest. The difference is though that there's sticking your foot in your mouth, then there is being genuinely creepy. I can tolerate someone being awkward, or the occaisional offhanded or off color remark. I may inform the person that it's not how to act around me, but if it's intentional, then I don't tolerate it.

I have't got any creepy comments yet but I'll just ask them to not do that. If they persist, then they're just doing it on purpose.
As for me, I'll NEVER send creepy comments because it's disrespectful and it makes me look like a pervert. I like the art as well as the sexiness.

Yes. A great many of my early comments on Deviantart would count as being creepy/weird in hindsight, and honestly I cringe whenever I recollect them. .-. (In fact, it's debatable as to whether or not I've actually gotten less creepy, but I digress ><; )

I'm asexual and on the autism spectrum but I've creeped a few folks out (furry or not) with my furry-specific tear-licking fetish. Been blocked every so often, kinda hurts when they shut me out before I can explain myself.
