Sounds like my parents. My dad took the interior panels off of the inside of the rear car doors, so for the longest time he or my mum had to open the freaking doors like there were child locks or something. And of course even when we had to go somewhere with them they'd forget to let us out. Because my dad can't take two minutes to put the panels back on the doors :/ I've given up and started using the rods that hook up to the interior door handle =P

My Jeep needed a whole new engine, and of course my dad found fifty other things wrong with it in the process of doing that (some extremely important, others not at all) so a short summer-long project to get a running car by the time I started college has turned into a 3 season+ pipe dream...

ugh, all I have to say is I hope you have a better time at finding parts than me.

Well my dad actually works for a collision center/ body shop, and he has the same model car so most parts aren't extremely hard to come by^^
