Access Virus! Hellz yeah! :D

Which Virus are you aiming to get? Going with Access' new kid, the TI2, or are you aiming to find something a little more old school with the A and B?

I plan on getting a TI 2. Maybe secondhand though.

Sweet, I've never used the TI2, but it's a solid synth from what I've heard. Are you trying to get the rack version or the keyboard version? And I'd recommend that considering how pricey the TI2 can be. Most of the time if you find one in decent condition, it'll work just like new anyhow. That's how I buy all of my gear. The only exceptions were the MicroKORG and SH-201, but that's because they were both relatively cheap for synths.

I was considering getting one used, since they can literally be half the price of a new one. Not sure if I'll go that route for sure though yet. Also, Im thinking of getting either the TI 2 Polar or the full keyboard version. I like my keyboards, lol. I do have a midi controller already, but since I plan on getting another synth later that doesnt have a keyboard, I would like to have the virus and my other stuff controlled separately. For instance I could have the Virus as a dedicated keyboard to itself, and then I can control my soft synths and the Analog Four that I also plan on getting completely separately from each other. I also want to start doing live shows sometime in the future so have all that stuff able to be independant from each other would be nice too.
