This is how I feel but then I get artists where I am in stream with them and have to keep pointing out things on my ref sheet to them because they just don't care and it's turning out nothing like my character and then I start feeling bad and nit-picky.

Yeah I just don't commission art anymore lmao.
I don't trust anyone enough to not try and bullshit their way through my commission.
Like, 80% of the time I have been unsatisfied with my commission and it was just due to the 'artist' not caring enough.
Like most of the time it's whatever because I can go in and fix it myself but I've gotten badges that were totally off too and it's like well thanks for having me pay for this thing that I'm not even going to use.

30$+ I know it sounds harsh but you should bitch least a little. Also if they aren't fulfilling their part of being the artist then you should ask for a refund if they keep not listening. Its one thing to go and ask for something ridiculous like a odd fetish the artist hates, but if its a simple character sketch that you gave them a reff for its no excuse
