You can fight the information on your credit report. Just tackle it one item at a time. If the reporting agency can't prove/verify the info from the fraud, they have to remove it.

As others have said - its not the end yet, when you're at the bottom the only way left to go is up. Check your credit and contact the agencies reporting what was fraud - contact them and get them to fix it. My husband apparently had a mortgage from before he was born on his credit and it took a long fight, but we finally got it removed.

If you can't get an apartment look for rooms to rent - it might be cheaper and you won't have the luxury of living on your own and possibly being able to be openly furry as much as you'd like, but it would be something till you can get back on your own. Look for places that might be renting near city centers or near local public transit.

Look for a nonprofit bike collective in your area that sells used bikes - sometimes they will let you volunteer for the price of a bike. If you have to look for local soup kitchens while you can - occasionally even if you have a place to live, but no money they will allow you to eat a meal.

Have you run out of unemployment? Did you have a 401K? Check with the unemployment office or check with an employment agency for help finding work - it might not be what you want to do forever, but at least you could eat and have a roof.

I know its overwhelming, but you can do it! You know that the way that you were living isn't here anymore and you just have to think about what are some resources you can use that you didn't need before. It will be tough, but the only way from here is back up.
