Vancoufur and PS4

I'll be at the vancoufur with
fortunefox and
hammytoy, so yknow, say the hellos or something at me
ps4 rant.
they reveal that watch dogs is a "next gen title" then immediately after the conference reveal that it's a current gen title that they're also releasing on the ps4. (it's coming out on ps3, 360 and wii u)
that open world puzzler by the guy who made braid is only a limited time exclusive.
so you're left with killzone and that infamous spin-off as actual ps4 titles that they showed in their big powerhouse reveal, considering the console is supposed to be out this winter (holiday) you'd think they would actually have something worthwhile to show us.
and what the hell happened to the 10 year generation cycle they repeatedly kept boasting about?

FA+

Otherwise it's just another expensive paperweight that plays shootin gams. Whoop-di-doo.
The Wii U sure looks tempting. What with Mario and Rayman gently blowing sweet little secrets into my testicles. Such a tease!
but its been 7 years yet again.
I am perpetually a generation or two behind, meaning I get to reap the rewards of cheaper game stuff while the newer console is what's hot. Means I don't get to participate in the initial hype of great games... but I get there eventually... for less money. So for someone like me, a faster generation cycle means more games that come into range. So, it sucks for those who get the newest console whenever it comes out, but there's large groups of people [which includes the people standing to make money, likely the most important factor. :P] who it favors to have a shorter cycle.
I mean this as no slight to the console, but the company itself has proven to do kinda iffy kinda shady things over the years, correct? Keeping their word for something like that seems highly unlikely.
Geez I sound like such a debby downer, lol.
