Suspended!

FUCK I'm pissed off right now. STORY TIME!
In April, my car was hit by some lady while it sat parked in front of my house. Since then my brake lights have not worked. I should've gotten this fixed...
In May I received a notice that the DMV has not received info about the accident from me, which is the law. I called AAA (my insurance folks) to tell them this, and the guy who handled my claim told me that a report was sent to the DMV ON THE DAY of the accident. Then he told me he would go ahead and send another.
In June I received a notice that the DMV STILL has not received info from me, and that if they do not by July my license would be SUSPENDED! Annoyed, I call the DMV, and through an automated system I report the incident.
Never received another notice.
TONIGHT! I'm driving downtown from one bar to another and this street light decides to turn red WITH NO ONE AROUND!!! A car pulls up behind me as we wait for the green. This car happens to be a POLICE CAR! 3 or 4 blocks down the fucker finally decides to pull me over. So I'm thinking of course he's gonna nail me for the brake lights which he wouldn't have seen if not for the stupid fucking light. Sure enough, he tells me that they're not working, gets my license and such and goes to run it. Dude was gone for FOREVER! Finally comes back and tells me he's got 2 things for me. One: fix-it ticket, of course. Grr. $10 whatever, I'll deal. Two: MY LICENSE HAD BEEN SUSPENDED IN JULY!!!
!@#$%^&*!@#$%^&*@!#$%^&!@#$%^
So he keeps my license and lets me go. I finally get to the next bar to meet all my friends, and of COURSE this bar has a god damned bouncer! So I can't go in, cause I don't have my god damned license any more! Rrrrrrrrrrr, what a buncha bullshit! Luckily he couldn't impound my car. I would've probably killed somebody tonight.
Now, I'm gonna go smash things in Mario Galaxy....

Still, I'm more mad at the DMV for not getting my shit. Plus I found out that even if the automated system worked, it didn't matter. They still need a hard copy. Of course it didn't say so in the system.
Oh well, it's been lifted, now I just wait for my license to be returned to me.
