Congrats!!! I have to say once again how much I admire you, this time for your courage. I am on my own, living with one of my mates (the one I've been with longest), and I still haven't come out to my family. I tried to tell my mom (by easing her into it with suggesting I was bi) and she...didn't take it well. Then she died of cancer. I never told my grandmother before she died, because I was afraid how she'd take it. And the rest of my family doesn't give a crap about me except one aunt...who found out I was gay from my Facebook profile (whoops!), didn't care, and in fact said she'd already known and supported me. So...I know how hard it can be to do what you did. I'm so glad everyone supported you!

Especially your girlfriend; the one my mate had, before he got together with me, didn't take it well at all when he told her. Though to be fair he'd realized he was gay, became involved with me online, wanted to live with me, then left home to go to school elsewhere...all without telling her until much later. She did eventually get over it and supported him in being gay, but needless to say the relationship didn't end well--in fact they stopped being friends later due to unrelated reasons.

But anyway! Congrats on it all working out so well for you. ^_^
