The baby.

baby is fine. I go and see my midwife on Wednesday (currently Sunday night). I'll be 10 weeks on Tuesday ^.^

Nice! 'Midwife'? I know I've heard that term, but I can't remember what that means.

a midwife is someone who is trained (and is typically a women) to help women through childbirth. However, in NZ, a midwife helps a woman throughout her entire pregnancy (check ups, scans, all that fun stuff, and is there for emergencies, and if the woman or partner has any queries). So, I see my midwife once a month until I'm about 4 months pregnant, and then once a fortnight until i'm about 30 - 32 weeks pregnant and then i'll see her once a week. I'll also see her once a week (maybe more frequently) for 6 weeks after baby is born.

Ahhh. Makes sense, really.
