We’re going to make a 1980s style music video at Furnal Equinox. Not just any video, though. We’re doing the Safety Dance.
If you aren’t familiar with this particular piece of exuberant 1980s madness, here’s a link. Be forewarned, the song will get caught in your head:

I think it would be insanely fun to do this with furs and fursuiters. Maypole! Safety dancing! A wild party! We can’t quite have Morris dancers and subtle pagan overtones, but we can have ribbons and leis and fursuits.
And a maypole. We’ve already got it 75% built, and it looks amazing.
Plus, it's a damn catchy song and we've written damn good parody of it, one that pays tribute to the escapism and fun of furry conventions.
So if you’re going to be at Furnal Equinox on Friday between 12 and 3pm, we would love to see you! Ribbons, leis, and other props will be distributed, with priority given to folks who pre-regged!
