So yeah..I was supposed to begin my first day at a new job today...I had even woken up ten minutes before my alarm out of excitement, was up and ready to go a good 30 minutes before I had to leave. No big deal right? After pacing about the house I eventually leave for the bus, wait about ten minutes for that, again no big deal. A thirty minute bus ride later lands me at work, I walk in, get greeted by the store manager. Her first words were "You don't have a uniform?" And of course my answer was no. I was supposed to receive a uniform this morning, which is really a company tee-shirt. She quickly checks the back for one and returns a minute later telling me that they didn't have any shirts. This means I just now wasted 2.50 on bus fare to get my happy ass there and have to spend another 2.50 to get back home. Wonderful first day, huh?
