Zeeme answered for me but yes, option B means that if I don't want the demotion I am being eliminated and asked to leave. I'm sure I'll fine a new job, I just hope it doesn't take too long.

In all reality I am happy to be leaving (they kinda suck) and I am glad they will at least be giving me a little severance this way.

Wow, I hope everything comes out okay for you in the end. I'm sure it will. It's not worth moving backwards, though, especially with a company that would do that to you.

Who knows? Maybe you'll get an even better position once you get a new job, or you'll discover the time to explore a different passion to excel in.
