but I don't have good...or really any ref's for him and I tend to bulk at the "copy pasta this journal" things. I know their purpose and that's fine, but I don't like feeding that fire as a way to get free stuff...I feel dirty for it. :\

So I think I'll just have to watch and see what comes up. as long as a foxy lady is having fun, then that works for me! :D

So what reason is there to feel dirty about reposting? I mean, if it were an artist holding the contest, that's what they're for, right? You give away one piece of free art, and your benefit is that more people get to see your work!

Plus, in this case, it's just Theta wanting more watchers and more furry friends, He's obviously not making money off of a reposting, and he's not doing it for just popularity, either. Just doing it as a way to meet new furries. ^_^

i mean, i have a few outdated gift art things and could give a text ref. but meh...I feel like that's unnecessarily making their job harder.

no no, I think it's great for artists to do, the advertising is awesome and I'm not knocking that per se. /I/ just feel weird because, especially right now I don't really post journals (and even if I was more frequent about it) and going "oohhh hey look at dis guys an' gals!" and feeling really greedy about it. it feels like...like, I'm out advertising for something because it could get /me/ something. I'd only really be doing it because /I'm/ trying to gain something out of it. as I said, I feel dirty.

and no, I'm not even questioning why they're doing it. this is entirely me just being cracked up in the brain :P
