Swat Kats is a hanna barbarra property, and right now Jazwares is making figures from that property, so hopefully they'll make some Swat Kats figures soon.

I had heard that the Swat Kats originally started out as a comic, but couldn't fine hide nor hair of its existence.

Agreed, one of the best and more underrated cartoons. I actually just bought the DVD set a few months ago, love it, and I forgot how much the art style changes between seasons 1 and 2. Much more use of comic-style pure black shadows in season 2.

I still need to see most of it for the first time.

Fuck Yeah! I loved Swat Kats! The intro music of season 2 rocks! Cartoon violence? Hit me with S.K. anytime!

That show had citizen dying, because the villains were...efficient. Not many show dares to tread this thin ice nowadays...But Swat Kats were not successful because of this. It was well made and very believable. The show could use a "radical" reboot!

that cartoon was my favorite in 90´s, more than Road Rovers (SK cold be more violent, but still is awesome)
