State of the shifter: February

In the February, I was too FUCKING BUSY...
So much that I couldn't even have any time for being vice versa.
So yeah... Not many updates...
Last couple weeks were especially tiring because I had a few days which went like... Wake up at 7:30 AM, do stuff, get older kid to school, do stuff, get to work at 6 PM, work till 2 AM, get home... Next day, repeat... Weekend, no less of a mess...
And today is yet another day like that. So there... Hopefully, the last...
On the plus side, I got 16GB of RAM for my PC yesterday, which then refused to boot Windows normally, then refused to boot in safe mode, then said it needs to run boot recovery "due to likely change in hardware" and spent like until 5AM doing so, but now it works nicely.
So I hope to finally draw at least something this weekend without my PC popping up notifications telling me I need to close my browser or something because it's out of memory every fifteen minutes.
. . .
On another note...
I just noticed a very funny thing. Now is the Jewish holiday of Purim. Which is heavily related to Esther. Now, what's funny is that it gets quite confusing where did the Christian Easter get its name from -- there or pagan Ostara, related to Germanic goddess Eostre/Austria. Given the dates, it gets even more confusing.
The Book of Esther is dated 3-4th century BCE. There are numerous (about 150) surviving Romano-Germanic inscriptions from North Rhine-Westfallia dating to 150-250 AD naming Eostre. Christianity was not widely adopted in Roman Empire until 4th century AD and started to come to Germany at the end of 6th, so it essentially eliminates all possibility of the name being brought there by Romans.
But the similarity is all too confusing.
Anyway... Now is also the Slavic (and adopted to Orthodox Church) holiday matching the Mardi Gras, Масленица, "farewell to winter". Related to Mora -- which is what one of my non-dream shapes is.
. . .
Also, Emmy runs a quick sketch raffle. Here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4384340
. . .
Edit: Also, Holly runs a raffle for spreading a word to help her fund dead laptop replacement. Also, offers discounted pics. https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4384314
