Don't fret, I barely ever, ever, hung out with any locals. The social scene isn't very active down there.

I know, but I want some social interactions in my life.

Oddly enough... people are more sociable here in Jacksonville than in Orlando.. we do stuff almost EVERY weekend here on Saturday nights and we have mall meets every weekend. At first the mall meets here when I first moved here were sketchy and I didn't like the people, but after weeding people out, and after things changed, it's a good crowd.. I love it.. and I'm not THAT social of a person as I try and keep busy.

Trust me, when it comes to Orlando.. it's not you. Nothing ever happened in Orlando. There'd only be parties like every once and awhile, and then coffee and Weds taco meet, like you said... I think it's mostly part due to the size of the city, and everyone's schedules conflict.. or they are all just kinda lazy. Everyone seems to also have their own cliques in Orlando, and after living there for 8 years.. that never changed.

Thankfully here in Jax (despite the bad name that Jacksonville used to have in the past because of weirdos and sex fiends.. it has changed, and it's become a REALLY awesome crowd), you should move here! ;D ;D ;D!!!

Your lucky then. Worst part is when I hear there was a party after the fact and I wasn't invited, that's what leads me to think it is me. That I've done something that causes me to not be invited.

And now I"m on Spring Break till the 11th and I'm prolly not going to do anything more than house chores and sitting around the house, since I can't find anything to do.

It's a board game and card game store, have lots of tables for people to game on.

Does it help that I often feel the same? I went to the after-movies noms this past Tuesday... not sure when bowling gets out, but they were there late. And I understand the drive to Kissimmee... it's about 40 minutes for us too. Beyond that, it seems I'm always working when things happen. Maybe the monday night thing in Longwood will happen.

I bet it's easier to find someone to let the dog out for ya though than someone to check insulin levels and give insulin shots :P

I have one too. But I check her once a week and she gets shots every 12 hrs. Have your BF give it the shot? Mine tells you when she needs it. Every morn and night,she jumps up on the table at 7:30 and meows. I come over and she lays down for me. I give it to her,and she jumps down. Kind cool. as she is the trouble maker of them both.

If you like to game my roomies and I are all about D&D and Star Wars! I also have several TCGs and even some miniatures. I'm not a huge fan of Cool Stuff, my go to was always the Coliseum of Comics in Kissimmee, but it's a bit of a hike. It's a shame they moved the Amorous Armadillo from Aloma to Alafaya, the new place just doesn't have the ambiance, stock or gaming space the old locale did.

I actually haven't been to the new Cool Stuff yet, but I only think of it since it's only about 15 minutes away from me heh.

Actually didn't move, it's a second location I believe (although not sure). It looks huge used to be a Lazy Boy Showroom.
