Yes the dreaded CAN YOU LVL ME?/ LFF!! stayed away from AP like the plague. Tried to get into CO but the wonky camera just ruined it for me.

I got back into Runescape a few days ago. Its pretty fun. :)

I suggest Perfect World, Planetside 2, SWTOR, and partially the War Z(not as good as Day Z but ok.)

They all get boring after a while unless you manage to rack up a decent amount of friends to play with. Perfect world was fun for a while as was League of Legends. Runescape can be good is you wish to use very little brainpower while playing. There are enough good free to play mmos that I wouldn't ever bother paying to play one.

RuneScape is fun except for grinding side/work lvls for quests. Perfect World I just didn't care for. LoL is to much of PVP for me(I don't mind teaming but pvp just doesn't set well with me)

That's what got me on the Super Squad, playing all the well known heroes(granted some reused animation attacks are in there)

Yep agree with you there, if I'm playing a fantasy game I want to fight demons/monsters/dragons not chop wood for 3 hours.

grinding is okay if you really aren't willing to put effort into gaming. I have those nights where I just want to really think to much and the grinding is a fine pass time. I was okay with Perfect world for a while. The quests were what was good about and they simply stopped appealing to me after a while. LoL recently changed it so that bots are actually semi-challenging. I've only stopped playing it for a moment to catch up on some free kongregate games and play through Diablo 3 if my family ever gets on. If they don't soon. I may do it by myself. Not to mention I found that there is a site containing old MS-dos games that have been modernized that I want to try to download and play.

I'll admit that I don't like some of the things they changed to make Diablo 3. My least favorite is the skills by far. I actually did enjoy the skill tree system. On the plus side, I do enjoy causing collateral damage to the environment.
