After almost four years of living in this rental I broke down and got an air conditioner. I didn't before because the windows are the tall thin type that crank open, so the window AC units was a no go. Then this weekend I seen an ad for a portable AC unit,but it needs a vent to the outside to run right. So the living room window(row of 4 tall thin and useless) looks redneck as all hell with white garbage bag covered cardboard box with a roll and a half of white duct tape blocking the rest of the 6' window that the 4" vent leaves out. Now after $430, an hour of taping, this place is finally bearable!
