What's the matter with you?
I mean... At least seven or eight pieces of the stuff I recently uploaded seems to be just as appreciated like the stuff I did like 4 years ago. Am I too simple or what? I mean everytime (that's quite a number) when I see Artist X submitting a sketch he/she "vomitted" (no offense, really!) on the paper, and gets lots of attention an stuff, it makes me kinda sad to see that pictures I put hours of work in are almost ignored in comparison.
No offense to anyone of you, but I'm honestly interested in what you actually want to see in my gallery! If the majority here wants me to do more REAL erotic and pornographic stuff, then I'll do it! No big deal - absolutely!
But if that's really the case, then I would be happy to change my behaviour in the choice of images worth uploading to FA (& the other sites).
...to make this clear, I do NOT mean to offend anyone. I just want to know what kind of stuff you would like to have, so I have to feel less sad about the little attention my "artistic" pictures get.

I personally love erotic art, and will tend to favourite those more--but that doesn't mean I will fail to appreciate a very well-executed clean piece.
I don't believe in giving away less than my best, so maybe it's just me.

Certain artist who could pwn anyone at DC or Marvel for art and action: Has to beg for commissions to get to a con.

I have an account on DA that has nothing to do with adult art whatsoever, I post my IRL cartoons and whutnot that I can actually shot to people in publuc. Believe me, it gets VERY little traffic. 9___9
But... U just gotta keep posting, until someday, you get the notoriety you deserve (orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ur adult fan base eventually make the connection u are who u are LOL)
As a writer, I get LOADS more attention at SoFurry, despite a fraction of the traffic here.
Not that I had much for it in the first place....

You just gotta keep on posting tho, don't let a lack of comments and faves get you down. Other people do sketches and whutnot cuz they're either super popular or there's a really huge fanbase for what they submit. Do the art that makes you happy, if only 1 or 2 people comment, its whatever, you just gotta keep drawing the stuff you enjoy and keep moving on. =)
I can understand this too. I rarely get comments and whatnot, but I learned the lack of favs and comments just really don't matter. It's not worth stop drawing. Keep going even if there are no favs and comments ever.
If feeling popular on the internet is important to then yes, do porn but be careful to not alienate your current watchers (would be hard to do as porn is pretty much universally accepted) and don't let your standards slip because you’re getting more favs now than ever (It's happened to a lot of people, stay mindful(don’t do ponies)) and the new audience you will attract will be there for the pornzz, if you post non porn it will get a few more favs that it currently gets because it will be in peoples inboxs who otherwise wouldn't of seen it
