Interesting Events Suggest Annual Occurrence Due to Repeat

Here's a little puzzle for you:
This morning at work, someone asked me what kind of cake I like the most.. and another co-worker asked me about my age. Such odd questions!
Upon arriving home from work, I received two cards in the mail from family members. In the cards, there were messages that made references to a specific date, tomorrow, March the 6th.
Curiouser and curiouser!
Finally, this evening,
WhiteMantis, my nearest and dearest friend, whom I cherish and adore utterly (<3333333), told me to listen to this song ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HKoqNJtMTQ ) and then go to this link: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10069438/
So, what can we deduce from these events about tomorrow, the sixth of March?
Of course, by now, in my time zone, it IS the 6th.

Thank you for letting me know. I normally don't like super thick/heavy cheesecakes, but I like the lighter and fluffier ones are good. And my favourite was this 'Vanilla Bean' cheesecake, white shavings of white chocolate on top, so that's really appropriate, thank you. :>
Also, according to my page a day calendar's March 1st page (which listed a number of odd March "holidays"), March 5th is multiple personality disorder day. Which I kinda appreciate/was amused by, at least in terms of someone with a stable of varying characters that reflect different aspects of my own personality. >:}
Oh, and! Happy Birthday to the Oreo! It's 101 years old today! :D

I know you brought it up back on those 'fancy dress' pictures before, when the song for Tomorrow Never Dies was under discussion, but I never actually went to check 'Snake Eater'. I figured.. or I somehow knew it was going to be a Bond-song knock-off, though. And boy, is it ever! Haha. :}
Anyway, I know about the Brazilian slang 'to eat', but at the same time, you could say that the lyric about this titular 'snake eater'.. it could be a snake that "eats" or someone that "eats" snakes. I'll leave the rest up to your imagination.
