Not dead.
I was asked if I was dead so I thought this would be a good time to write an update on things.
I am currently eating rum raisin chocolate ice-cream.
Regards, Ferobird.
PS. We didn't get to have any say in what we were going to do or specialize in our squad so we were just told what we would do. So they made me a machine gunner. This is what I get to fire: http://www.rusmilitary.com/images/p.....achine_gun.jpg and I tell you, it feels quite ballsy. Downside being it weighs 11kg when fully magged, add combat vest and fragment vest that add a nice amount of additional weigh plus all the clothing you need for the Finnish winter... it is a fucking heavy package I tell you that. My back hurts. Still pretty ballsy gun.
I got about 2 months and 2 weeks of heavy combat training ahead of me and about 3 weeks of not doing jack shit after that. Then I'll be finished! (quite possibly physically too). Next week will be nothing but combat training. Boarding the APC and getting out over and over again and moving in terrain and all that. After that, we got a week of nice camp life when we go shooting and training in the forest. We fire live rounds with is quite a big deal considering we are not in a controlled environment on a shooting range, but literally almost in a real situation. We are not firing blanks, and I am sort of surprised they let us do that so early with not so much of similar training without live ammunition. So, it's no play. I really hope everyone can handle their damn guns with live ammo in it. I rather not have anyone kill themselves or even more so, shoot me in the ass.
Did I tell you my back hurts? And my legs?
Anyhow, I can fieldstrip that bitch in 1 minute now. That includes disassembling it while prone, getting up, going back down and assembling it back together. Cut my finger in the process, but it was well worth it. Not really. Everything of me is sore. Here are all the parts: http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/.....s/DSC00469.jpg
So that is all for now. Hoping I can do some drawing this weekend and continue on the next comic page. Got so many ideas to draw and no time, it is annoying as hell.

The pain's worth it, man. It's all worth it in the end.

Probably not worth it, but it's in the past then at least.

I'd say it's worth it (as I did), but that's my opinion, haha!

I've always thought a raptor would make an ideal sniper : >

That's what I thought too, but apparently they do not recognize my talents.
